Filter Empty Cell

Hi Expert

In Appsheet filter feature is it possible to filter empty list ? Example in the app after filtering PROD I want to filter all value at LOCATION NAME that is empty. Is that possible ? If yes what is the string to type in?

Hi @desmond_lee , sorry If  I didn't get the correct context, but, for me, filter already has a default (empty) option to filter.

That is your entry data is in ENUM. I have that too

No, there is no way to generally filter for blank columns.  There are occasions when an "(empty)" option shows for Enum columns (as indicated by @RBTAndrade ) when the column has rows with an empty value.

In my opinion, this is a huge oversight by AppSheet for filtering.

It would have been nice if "Is blank" or "Is not blank" as well as "Does not include" could have been included as well.

Well, I guess you could make a virtual column with an expression that yields some text (e.g. "empty") when a column is blank.  Then, if that virtual column were made searchable, you could use it to filter.
