I created a form view to scan a barcode for a material, and then to input in the next field the quantity of this material. Since different materials having different unit of measurements (fe Kilogram, Meters, Pieces) I show in the form "unit of measurement" field, which I created through a virtual column and is automatically filled. In this way a user can understand after scanning the material if the count should be input in Kilogram, Meters etc.
For efficient use I would like the user:
1) open the scanner on opening the view
2) go directly to quantity field after scanning is done
3) save automatically after entered a value in "quantity" field
1) and 2) is achieved by enabling "advance forms automatically" and "auto-save". However, after having filled in the quantity and pushing enter, appsheet is not saving automatically.
I believe it's because after enter the quantity, appfield is selecting the field "unit of measurement". For this reason the user now still needs to push the Save button in order to continue. "Unit of measurement" field is marked already in the table as non-editable, so it also doesn't make sense that appsheet tries to select this field.
Can someone give advice to solve the above, either by changing the settings in appsheet or advice how to achieve the same through a different solution?
Many thanks!
