Hi,
I want the user to be able to open a seperate google sheet to the main one used for the app. They can then fill in the columns on a tab that holds outlets/customers. They can then “import” that data by using an “add new row to another table using values from this row” action.
They will not be able to access the main table google sheet and the new import googlesheet will be held in my google account too. How can I allow them to open the file (after giving them access to the google sheet or add a link for the google sheet to open?
Copy and pasting the google sheet link doesn’t work.
Thanks
Phil

Put quotes ("

Hi @Phil_Waite - can you clarify why you want the user to visit the sheet itself to enter data on ‘outlets/customers’ instead of having them do it through your app?
Hi Peter,
Users will want to upload mutiple outlets in one go. Possibly hundreds.
Thanks
Phil
@Phil_Waite
And you want your user do this thru their mobile devices?
Where did you paste it to?
Action
External: go to a website
Target URL: This is where I pasted it.
Thanks
Phil
Can you elaborate on “doesn’t work”?
Hi Steve,
this comes up when I enter it.
Arithmetic expression ‘(“https:”/“docs.google.com”)’ has inputs of an invalid type ‘Unknown’
Put quotes ("
) around the URL.
Great thank you
