Google Maps Platform integration

I have 2 questions.

1) is it possible to integrate Google Maps Platform into Google AppSheet? 

2) Google Maps which is automate integrated in AppSheet is free Google Maps version, is that right? (I use AppSheet to build apps, and Google Maps is automate integrated without API key of Google Maps Platform)
