Is there a reason my template will not work in a table format in Google Docs? I have only ever tried outputting simple text with my column data, but I wanted to clean up the format.

Not only is the table gone, but extra spacing is added which I don't want. I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
When you created your automation and added the task that generates the PDF it auto generates a default form for you. You would usually start with that default form and add all the fancy extras. Is that what you did?
Secondly, did you add the table within the default created template using the built in table option of Google Docs, or did you COPY/PASTE the table in from another word processor? Word perhaps?
What is the line width of the borders on your table? Try increasing them and see if the output changes.
Thanks for the reply. I created a new Google Doc, added the table, and pasted the column info/formulas in. I then took the "doc ID" and pasted that into the "template" part of the automation:
