How to display a google sheet created by a script in Appsheet App

Hi,
I have created an app for tennis which allows users to view and update scores as well as manage tournament draws. In the google sheet I have a sheet where a script helps to create a tournament draw or bracket. A new sheet is created / updated with the tournament draw. This sheet however does not have any column headers. How do I get this sheet to display in UX in my app ? I have tried to get information on this from everywhere but nothing is clear. I am not a techie and will need your patience. I have followed the instructions on integration till the point where the google sheet is updated whenever I add or delete names in the relevant sheet. I need the draw page to display in the app. Help me please.

You need to bring that sheet to your app through Data > Tables > New table. And you need to have column headers.

Hi Alexsi,
Thanks for your immediate response. Does that mean the script will have to be changed to insert column headers ? As the sheet has connectors and I am not sure if these can be displayed in the app ?

Hi @SSPL
Can you get your script to update an existing sheet with headers?
Are you creating a new sheet every time you make a new draw?

Hi Lynn
I am not sureโ€ฆI can try but the sheet has connectors. How will that be displayed in the app?

Hi @SSPL
Maybe check this out

Thanks Lynnโ€ฆ
I will go through it and check. Appreciate your help.

Please update an existing sheet which has the header row already. If you canโ€™t write column names or they will be different, that actually doesnโ€™t matter. The column name can be different than in your app if you just donโ€™t regenerate the column structure.

I did a work around but now images for the connectors are not showing up - I am getting an exclamatory mark in a triangle !

HI
Worked around and somewhat have got what was required. Consider this as solved ! Thanks for your help.

Excellent!

SSPL, I am brand new to Appsheet.  However, it appears that you were working on the project I had in mind.  Can you give me an idea of how it turned out?  Was Appsheet ultimately a good tool for coordinating your tennis tournaments?
