Hello, I'm trying to find the most efficient way to store images where the source of the images comes from two different Google accounts.
The Google Sheet database is stored in Account 2 (appsheet/data) and we'll need all images for the app to be stored in the Account 2 file structure. The new app in Account 2 currently saves images as expected to the correct folders.
I've configured the legacy app default folder to the shared folder from the new app in Account 2 but when testing the legacy app in Account 1, the images are saved into My Drive of Account 1 vs. the Account 2 file structure that was shared. Note: Although I've shared the databases from Account 2 to Account 1, the database is not visible in the designated folder in Account 1.
I understand using the folder property of each image field can only be used to create subfolders. Is it best to create a shared drive instead in order to centralize the images for both apps to reference? Will standby for any ideas. Thanks a million

Hi, forgive my English but it's a translator.
If I understand correctly, you want to store the images in a single folder from two or more applications. If so, what you have to do is create a shortcut to the "mother" folder in which you want all the photos to be stored and that access Directly you place it in the folders of the rest of the applications, in the folder path of application 2 you put the name of the shortcut that you have in the drive folder of application two.
In reality, these folder shortcuts are very useful even for generating PDFs of different applications and having them all saved in a single "mother" folder that is outside of the other application folders.
I leave you a screenshot where you will see a shortcut and where they are created.
Do the apps use sheets or a database as the datasource?
And if sheets, is it the same set of sheets?
The apps are both linked to a single Google Sheet located in Account 2

Thank you Lurent for your help - it worked! I was having trouble viewing the shared folder in the 1st account but your explanation helped tremendously. A million thank you's!
