Images in email body templates

This WAS working fine about an hour ago and now isnt... I have numerous apps where we use Google Docs template for the email body. Alot of these have static images, mainly an image inserted into a table in google docs to control its size. On all the apps I can find not these images are showing up as

<img alt="" src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAuoAAAI4CAIAAACz81vVAACAAElEQVR4Xrzc15MjV3og+nm9EStpNTM07aqryxsUUPDee++........

Strangely images in google doc templates which end up as PDF attachments are not affected.

Response from Appsheet:

"As per update from the Eng Team, this is a Gmail issue, not an AppSheet issue. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about this -- our system is functioning as intended, but Gmail is failing to display inline images.

Additionally, it may be possible to workaround this issue by having the customer upload the images to Google Drive and then insert them into the document using the Insert > Image > Drive menu item. This may change the way the image is included into the document in a way that works around the Gmail issue."

Despite not changing anything, the issue seems to be fixed now.

I would propose to send a support ticket so the devs could check if there is something wrong with templates.

Just done that

we saw the issue showing up 24h ago on our domains

i've been trying uploaded images into google drive, inserted in appsheet email template. But it still doesn't work. Do you have any solution for this?
