Invalid Sync Token is preventing data sync

One of my users is getting "Invalid Sync Token" when he is trying to sync his records.   I am using Google Sheets as my data source.  I verified that he is running the latest version of the app.

Since he has 29 records to sync (representing almost 8 hours of work) I would _really_ like to get those records synced (and not have him uninstall/reinstall the app.)

Any suggestions?
