Is it possible to copy all of the related rows for a record, then bulk edit those copies?

I would like to copy a parent record with all of the related records, to a new parent that has the same child records but with the new primary key for the parent. Could the ‘Is a Part of’ column property be used for this?

If not natively, then maybe with IFTTT or Zapier. Something like

IF (new row in table 1) THEN INSERT ROWS

in table 2

Definitely it will be very useful. I’ll try to make a script in google sheets to see if we can have a workaround.

This is easily possible with existing Actions, you probably shouldn’t waste your time writing a script to solve a 3 year old issue.
