Please help me resolve an issue in the Expression Assistant. Specifically, after entering the correct formula, AppSheet still does not provide a detailed explanation of how the formula is executed; it only shows a green checkmark.
Notably, this issue only occurs with Account A (my primary account).
I tried sharing the app with Account B, and the issue did not occur.
I also logged into Account A using a fresh browser with no extensions, but the issue persisted across all apps.
Thanks for your attention!
That is odd, and I have no explanation. Consider sending the AppSheet team feedback from Expression Assistant:
Thank you for your response. I have just submitted a report to the AppSheet team with a screenshot.
Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon!
Has there been a resolution to this issue? We are having the same problem on multiple accounts.
Please contact AppSheet Support for help with this.
I have tried to contact Appsheet support in many ways, but there has been no response.

I believe the AppSheet team is currently running an experiment on the feature to analyze the feature -- if it's helpful for the success of the app creation experience. So it's maybe WAI.
See Brian's comment in the post below about the plan regarding the expression description.
Thank you for the explanation. Although I understand and like the cleaner and quicker view without the description, there certainly are times we do view and derive value from the description. Maybe there's a compromise where the descriptions don't appear unless the field is expanded or a switch turned on?
I will invite @wabrian ๐
Unfortunately no we will not be continuing to surface the expression description.
We felt as if we either needed to invest to improve the expression descriptions to make them non-confusing, or to get rid of them. People were not deriving enough value to justify further investment, and accordingly we removed the feature.
We hope that Test Expression changes that we are investing in will make it easy to see the results of your expression and understand in data what your expression is doing easily enough that you no longer miss the textual description. This is how Sheets works -- it never explains your formula -- it just lets you see your results very easily.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
Again, thank you for the explanation. I look forward to the expression assistant changes.
Do we know when this will be released? I found it very helpful as I didn't always understand the formulas. It is a good way to check a formula works as well.
