LEN() function error

Hi there,
I am trying to put a LEN() formula inside of the IF() but this error appears:
“LEN function is used incorrectly”
Formula looks like this:
IF(
AND(
LEN([Z])=7;
IN([Z],xyz[Z]));
[A]<>“B”;
[A]=“A”
)

Number of characters in textual value

the LEN() formula looks the same. Cannot find the solution. Please help me guys.
