Log Analyser - repeating error, how to resolve

I'm seeing a repeating 'add row' error in the analyser log. I know the user isn't repeatedly trying to save this form, is there a way we can stop the action from repeating? I seem to recall that when an update action in the sync list gets 'stuck', that the user can click the sync icon and cancel the outstanding actions? Would appreciate any thoughts people might have on this matter

I've not done this recently, but as i recall, clicking Cancel doesn't remove the pending update, it just stops the process temporarily. To remove a problem update, the user would need to Reset Changes from the main menu.

Is there any way we can force 'reset changes' for all users remotely? In the event that a similar issue occurs in the future? We've tried an app upgrade, which indicates that this will clear outstanding data update actions - however in the log analyser we can still see the actions attempting add the rows as before.
