I have a map view, and a virtual column that is a KML URL link. The column is set as Address type.
This link https://code.google.com/apis/kml/documentation/us_states.kml is an example from the AppSheet help page, and loads just fine in Maps, Earth, MyMaps, et cetera.
Alas, nothing loads in the app. I have tried with HYPERLINK() functions as well.
Thus, is there a way to reference a KML for maps via a Virtual Column?
Solved! Go to Solution.
As mentioned in the other topic, you cannot add a KML per record

I appreciate the link but the question is just a bit more nuanced, rather is there a way to have a KML that is defined in the data, not at the metadata of the data source?
