Missing side menu: Cannot switch between multiple apps

Hi all,

the side menu on the top left seems to be disabled. So I cannot switch between apps or close the current app. I’d like to know how I can enable the side menu again?

Any hint is appreciated.

Are you referring to the menu within an app? If so, are you referring to the below setting being inadvertently disabled?

I am having that same issue (in 2024), I give a detail here:

As an AppSheet end user (not an editor), I have access to the app "A" where the Menu and search buttons were hidden (toggle off). So when I open the AppSheet Hosting app in my phone (in my case Android), the app "A" opens because it was the last one used, but I cannot switch to other appsheet apps (app B, for example)

I haven't perfomed full tests, but I believe the only ways to switch are:

• using a link to app B
• deleting cache for AppSheet Hosting app in the phone
• deleting and reinstalling AppSheet Hosting app in the phone

I guess there should be a better way... 😔
