Multiple conditions with enumlist

I need to filter with these 2 conditions :
AND( [in_use] = TRUE , [storage_area] = “Bar” )

From what i understand, it doesnt work because [storage_area] is a enumlist type variable.
I have spent half my afternoon on this … can somebody help please?
