New Bug Encountered:Data table not accessible due to "Internal Error" with all Office365 apps

One of my accounts is getting the same error in two different apps- both using Office365/Excel as a datasource.

There are many other tables but the error only mentions one being inaccessible. I’ve tried clearing cookies/history, different browser, tablet, etc.

Microsoft says it has restored the API to its prior state. We have brought our code back to its prior state. The question for all of you is — are the apps performing the way they used to earlier? If so, good. If they are significantly slower, I will pass it along to Microsoft.

@Kyle_Richardson Hi Kyle, I’m investigating this. Does this happen consistently every time you sync the app? Have you been able to sync the app at all since we deployed the fix?

It is not consistent.

If I keep trying, eventually it will sync.

All of my users are experiencing this.

@Kyle_Richardson It appears the Excel API is taking a very long time to read relatively small tables (a few hundred rows) in your app. Could you look into the worksheets of the tables below to see if they contain any long-running formula:

1/ MachiningData
2/ FinishedCastings
3/ Heats
4/ Alloys
5/ Orders Sub Menu

One thing that you should look out for is the presence of any loading/progress bar in the worksheets, usually at the top of the screen.

@Kyle_Richardson Hi Kyle, I compared the sync time of the app before and after the problem occurred, and it seems to remain more or less the same, approximately between 40 - 70 seconds depending on who the app user is. Occasionally there will be one sync that takes much longer than usual, about 130 seconds, but this is not common. Is the app consistently much slower than it used to be for you and your users?

Harry, things appear to be back to normal now.

Sync times are where they were before.

Hi, @praveen so far my app is back to normal thanks a lot for your help, but I’m still having an issue with my sheet, I can not see rows from 2 to 1023, there is no filter on and I’ve tried to unhide rows and columns and no success. The only way I can see all the data is by downloading a copy of the sheet. So not sure whether I have to contact Microsoft or Appsheet support to help me with this.

@Alejandra_Petro Hi Alejandra, are you unable to see the missing rows in your AppSheet app, or in Excel Online? If the rows show up in the app, but are missing in Excel Online, the problem is most likely in Microsoft, so please contact Microsoft or Excel support. If the rows are missing in the app, please give us the names of the affected app and table.

Hi @Harry the app is fine all the data is showing, the problem is with the sheet. I will contact Microsoft then.

Gracias!
