Only count when created not when edited

Good day

I have the following restriction for product name records, which must be unique
“NOT (IN ([_ THIS], SELECT (products [Product Code], [Product ID] <> [_ThisRow]. [PRODUCT ID])))”
The problem is when they want to edit or update a product, it does not allow it since it retells the restricted column.

I would like to know how it can be done so that it only counts when the product is created and not when it is being edited.
