Hello!
Today one of the apps that I developed stopped syncing because the app had X columns but the data source had changed and had X-1 columns.
When this happens I either send the data to myself, by selecting "Show Changes" in the menu or enable recovery mode and then press sync again.
My issue is that in desktop mode there is no "Show Changes" button and enabling recovery mode did nothing.
Is there a way to retrieve the data from an app that is used in the browser? I checked DevTools but couldn't find the data inserted by the user there.

Please be aware that Desktop Mode is in Preview ONLY right now (not even Beta). It is not yet meant for "Live" apps.
With that said, if you opent he Side Menu and do not see the "Reset Changes" option, then Desktop Mode is currently not including that feature. Honestly, I am not even sure if the legacy Desktop version included it. I never tried using it.

From your message I remembered that there is an option to disable Desktop mode.
Doing so solves my issue. Disabling it shows me the mobile view, which has the "Show Changes" option.
By the way, Desktop mode has the "Reset Changes" option, but I need the "Show Changes" one.
Also, is there a way for me to request the developers to add the "Show Changes" button?
Choosing the 'Reset Changes' option does in fact also send the pending data as a recovery file into the repository where your app is stored (i.e. Google Drive). In Google Drive it would show up as a recovery folder.
That's great! I didn't know. This solves the issue without having to disable desktop mode. Thanks!
I come back to this reply after many months to inform that this is not always the case. Had an issue with an app and couldn't retrieve the data with using recovery mode and trying to sync and with "Show Changes" so I decided to "Reset Changes" in hopes that the data would be sent to a _recoveryData folder.
It did not send the data to this folder and when in contact with AppSheet support they told me that "sometimes the recovery file doesn't generate".
