Signature Box smaller than expected in light mode

When capturing signatures in AppSheet, the signature box's active capture area is a lot smaller than the actual box looks. This is fine in dark mode since there the dark background is different than the white active area, but for light mode this area is camouflaged, and so I've found people often accidently cut off their signatures when using the light mode app. 

Is there any workaround aside from just having the entire app set to dark mode?
