Sql server connection external error

I'm trying to connect to an external SQL Server database and I'm encountering an error. However, on other servers, the connection works perfectly. What should I do to resolve this problem?

Have there been any changes to the method of connecting to the external SQL Server database? Also, where can I check the database connection logs to diagnose this problem?

Yes, I checked the article and confirmed that I did everything correctly. The firewall is configured to allow connections from any IP, and I can connect to the database from another server without any problems. However, AppSheet is unable to connect to my database SQL server.

now with another database like mysql, the connection works.

But I need SQL server

Change your connection to Require SSL.

I discovered that the issue only occurs with SQL Server 2008; it works fine with the 2019 version.
However, I need it to function correctly on SQL Server 2008.

No more support Does AppSheet support this older version of SQL Server?

There should not be any difference how AppSheet treats 2008 or 2019. Though Microsoft doesn't support 2008 anymore. Could that be the reason?

In March 2024 I connected to the SQL Server 2008 database, perfectly.
Now I tried to make a new connection and it stopped working.
Probably the old appsheet sql drivers were not installed.
