If we make a change in a quick edit field and there is another field that does not meet a requirement/validation, it won't get updated but the problem is that there is no indication of any error. It will silently failed.
The only thing you would notice is that the sync number will not change.
If you do exact same thing in a form, then the error will be shown under the affected field.
Any indication of failed update will be helpful.
