Hello,
If this is posted in the wrong place or there's already an answer or etc., please let me know and I apologize in advance.
I'm editing the Shift Scheduling template (hXXps://www.appsheet.com/templates/Schedule-shifts-and-manage-timesheets-for-frontline-workers?appGuidString...) to be able to have my employees be able to sign up for, clock in/out, and swap shifts at the restaurant. I have no shifts available on Monday except if ownership wants to track the time we spend at the restaurant, max three front of house and max three back of house staff shifts on Tuesday, two shifts for FoH and two for BoH on Wednesday, etc. etc. etc. I got it, basically, all set up the way I want for one week of shifts and then moved on to expand out to a full month of shifts. Here I realized, the Today () and Today() -1 and Today () +1 formatting is constantly screwing with the available shifts. So, if I look at the Sheet on Friday 04JUL, there's (technically) the correct amount of shifts available, but they're for the incorrect times. The Saturday shifts reflect what should be available on Sunday, and Monday's shifts look like what should be available for Sunday. If I were to look at the spreadsheet/app on Saturday 05JUL, it'll be shifted one day to the right.
1) Is there a better way for me to be coding in the available shifts each day, e.g. 2x ownership shifts available on Monday, 2x ownership and 3x FoH shifts and 3x BoH shifts on Tuesday, 2x owners 2x FoH 2x BoH on Wednesday, etc?
2) Is there a different template I should be using that allows: selecting, swapping, clocking in/out?
Thanks, all for your insight.
