Update Appsheet native database using Apps Script

I am new to Appsheet and was wondering if it is possible to update the Appsheet native database using Apps Script in the same way how it is possible to update the Google sheet using Apps Script.  Also where does the Appsheet native database live  - would like to know the exact location if possible.
