Hello everyone,
I am interested in enlarging the image provided by Appsheet on a form the images come from another table but I can't make them look bigger, I can't put it on buttons as I need to accompany the images with text.
Is there a way to enlarge or zoom when hovering over this section in form view when it is a list?
Sorry, this is a REF to another table, of which I bring the image and the description.
As far as I know, there is no way to enlarge the image size.
I have tried applying a formatting rule CONTEXT(โViewโ) = โTPRESUPEST_Formโ but it does not change the size,
There should be a solution... ๐
Do you have only 5 options for the boxes in the reference dropdown as you have shown in the screenshot?
In this dropdown yes, but I have more dropdown menus within the same form.
What is your strategy?
The workaround will require
1. select only the box name as the label in the referenced table. That means remove the image column from the label
2. Add another VC called say [Box Image] of image type in the child table where you are referencing this Box table options. The expression of this image VC column is [Ref Column].[Image Column] where the [ref column] is the reference column in the child table that references the Box table. [Image Column] is the image column in the Box table.
3. Add the reference column and the [Box Image] column in the child table next to each other.
4. Make the reference column in the child table as button type and not dropdown type. With dropdown option the user experience will be inferior because the use will not see the image till she/he select dropdown option..
Now when user selects the box label , the corresponding bigger image of the box will be displayed just below.
I have implemented this concept in a section of the form, with 3 options,
But there are dropdowns that have many more options and it would not look good at all.
I still greatly appreciate your help. It is also a good resource that can help a lot of other people.
From Tablet and Mobile the view is better, but on desktop it is terrible and illegible.
Is there a way to make the dropdown open in a window like it does in tablet mode but on desktop?
