Using app on mobile while offline

I have a field service requirement where operators use an app outside network coverage (at times).

I have enabled the option to use the app offline. When starting the app I get a network error message. I press cancel and the app opens.

While the app seems to work (and sync when back into network coverage) is there a way to disable the error message?
