Hi,
There is someone how can tell me how to use dialpad api on Appsheet apps?
Solved! Go to Solution.
I see dialpad is a service.
You can create webhooks to call REST api's from AppSheet but they are only one-way - send and forget. I am not familiar with dialpad so not sure what would be required to make VoIP calls. I would think it would require "request and response" activity which is currently not capable in AppSheet.
Or maybe it can be initiated from AppSheet and then AppSheet launches into a dialpad.com client on the device?
I think you would be blazing new trails if you get this one figured out.
If you define a column as type of Phone, it will show the dialpad when attempting to enter a phone number on a mobile device. When you show this Phone column in a Detail view or a Table view, the user will be shown a couple icons (can turn off in column definition) to allow either making a phone call or send a text message.
If you had something specific in mind please share and we can maybe help you further.
I want to make calls/sms through dialpad.com VoIP platform (dialpad rest api) and not through my telecom provider.
