What happen if I remove the appsheet app, in Google Workspace environment?

My company is using a Google Workspace.

I recently discovered AppSheet by chance, studied AppSheet, and created several in-house services that employees can use.

The AppSheet services I created were created using my company's Google Workspace account.

There's one thing I'm worried about: if I quit my job, my company's Google Workspace.
When my account is canceled, what happens to the app sheets I created?

Currently, these services are core services and are used daily by all executives and employees.
If the corresponding app sheets were also removed when I left the company, it would cause great confusion.

I can't test this, does anyone know anything about it?

The best way is to create a new account and then copy the app to this new account. When copying the app, it copies all data, images etc.

Another way is to transfer the app to a new account, but that doesn't transfer anything else than the app itself.

When your account is deleted, apps won't work anymore. This is a good reason to use different account for apps that other users are using.

Wow.. It is very critical for me, my company...

Then, should I re-make using another accounts?

or is there any solution to change the ownership?

Hi Aaron,

This issue become more annoying when you want to transfer ownership from an account outside of your organization (even if  there's a way).

But if you are part of the same organization actually then you can:

- Transfer app property to the new owner account.

At this point the ownership will be changed but the app won't properly work because the folders location don't exist on the new account (but files and folders are still there on your drive).

You then have to transfer ownership of all files to the new owner (need to be part of the same organization) and users should have authorizations/storage roles to do so. To transfer files property : right click>share>put the new owner as editor. Then right click>share again and click on "editor"> "Transfer ownership".

You can either transfer property of appsheet folder and every subfolders , or just the property of the app folder (but you need to be sure to properly add appsheet>data folders and put the app folder within data).
