Hi all, I discovered Appsheet reading this blog https://www.linkedin.com/posts/justynambak_googledoc-googledatacloudlive-appdev-activity-70367116843... Now I am curios about the pricing. The website says that AppSheet plans start as low as $5 per user per month, but what is a user? Is it a developer? I mean myself and my friends working on creating the app or is the end user that will interact with the app?
Solved! Go to Solution.
There are 2 types of subscriptions: Secure and Public. The former requires log-in, and is paid per user. The latter allows anyone to use, has no security, and is $50 per month per app.
There is no such thing as using the app in "read-only mode".

A user is every unique login that accesses the app per month.
Opening the editor counts as accessing the app, however there is a 1-user leeway in the license count to account for a non-user developer.
Thanks Marc, what if the users don't log in to the app? WHat if they use the app in read-only mode?
