Hello Experts
I have asked this question in another post but that topic was different so I am asking here.
I have a table of students that has 3 column, I want a view that shows those 3 columns and also shows a 4th input column so when I fill 4th Column, the data goes to another table after I save etc
Which view type should I select in which the display shows Col1 = Roll No, Col2 = list of students, Col3 = yesterday's marks and Col4 = an input column for today's marks, all 4 columns in a single screen with 10 rows (at least) and 4 columns. Which view type like form, table etc or other can work for this? Or should I learn about dashboard to make it work. Again, I am new and will have to learn these view types but need a guidance about my route. Thanks a lot

Views are just views. The choice of the view will not affect the behavior of your app. To have the values copied in another table you should use expressions and behavior actions, and this will be completely independent of the type of view you choose to display either table.

Thank you for clearing the concept
I have a question for data editing for existing rows with Table vs Forms.
When I create a table view, I can select each row in table, then enter values, then click save button. It takes a lots of time.
Is it possible with forms that I open a form, edit all values and then save?
I have tries creating form view but strangely form does not show all columns, although I have marked all columns as "Show" and "Editable" in columns settings. The only column the form shows is the column set as key column. What can be wrong here?
Hello I think what you looking for is the " Enable Quick Edit" Feature. This can be found in Inline_View on the UX tab.
This will create a button on the top right corner
I'm sorry I feel confused. Would you please clarify your questions with screenshots? Thanks.
