Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my app.
I want to place icons next to the category name but i only get that yellow triangle.
I downloaded .png and .svg from https://fonts.google.com/icons, place them in my google drive and created the links but it does not work. Here images of how im doing it.
Any ideas?
Thanks for the help.
I didn't even know it was possible to put an image in a category header! How are you attempting this?
Hi Steve,
Actually i use a prototype app from google jaja, the Inventory Management App, there all ready was this feature created, you can check it there but here is the table in my app:
Originally the icon was a link to the same site but i change it to a direct file.
What is the URL the app is trying to use to get the image?
Now o before?
Now is: - Items_Images/Consumo.png
- Items_Images/oficina.png
Items_Images/Aseo.svg
Before was:
Both are valid methods
Are you sure "consumo.png" is there?
Absolutely.
Can you share a screenshot of the expressions you are using for that column?
Sorry im not sure what you are asking, can you send a screenshot of that?
The "Expression" field of the "Icono" Column.
Its empty
Google Drive links are not public urls.
You need something like this:
https://cultofthepartyparrot.com/parrots/hd/dealwithitparrot.gif
What you're doing should work.
@Steve it's appearing in the header because he marked it as a label.
@MRosende just make sure that the Drive folder that the images are stored in is the same folder (or a subfolder) as the spreadsheet that the App is based on. Appsheet uses file location in relation to the folder that the spreadsheet is saved in. You can easily move the spreadsheet to be in the same folder without messing up the app.
