Your Android App Bundle is signed with the wrong key

Hey

I have a white label app which some time ago I decided to release at Play Store. Initial version was release for internal testing as app package but I never released it to prod. Currently, Iโ€™ve came back to the app, decided to create a new release, generated in AppSheet new white label, and this time it is android app bundle. The problem is that when I try to upload it I got the following error message:

Your Android App Bundle is signed with the wrong key. Ensure that your App Bundle is signed with the correct signing key and try again. Your app bundle is expected to be signed with the certificate with fingerprint:

SHA1: โ€ฆ

but the certificate used to sign the app bundle that you uploaded has fingerprint:

SHA1: โ€ฆ

Anyone has encountered anything like that?? Thx in advance for any help!

Best,
Nick

I have the same issue, but I can't upload either the App Bundle or APK. I get the same error with either upload. In short, we had a previous version of the app that was developed on a different platform and released on the Play Store, and now we've developed an updated version of the app in AppSheet and want to release the AppSheet app as a new version of the old app, but they have different signing keys.

I emailed Play Store support about changing my app signing key. They emailed me instructions on how to generate and register a new upload key. Here's the help article they provided.

Once I generate a new key, how do I get that into my AppSheet app? Or am I misunderstanding what needs to happen?
