You cannot change the type of a column at runtime.

Why do you need different types for a single column? There should be other ways to do what you want.

Without knowing your full requirements I could not give you how I would tackle your case.

Generally you need to have two columns for a table to have relations with two tables. You can use show-if settings to control how you present the input form depending on the conditions.
