file column for pdf link doesn't show the action "Open file (pdf)"

Hello!

I have an app with multiple tables having almost the same structure and functionality, including a bot which sent an email with an attached .pdf file  and it has also a task for creation of a pdf file on a shared drive.

For 2 tables, even if the expressions are the same for all table, the "Open file pdf" action is not shown in the view of the table (I used a table type view). Could you give me some idea what can I check, because I checked the type of column, it is "File", I check if the name of the file is the same - file saved on the shared drive versus the name of the file displayed in the view (the column for Pdf in my view shows the name of the pdf. file as text, not as a link to be able to open the file, even if the "Open file pdf" action generated by system exists in list).

Thank you for your help!

Remark: the app is already in production.

Regards!

Ruxandra

Would you happen to use a slice for your view? If so, the slice may have excluded this action. Can you check?

Hi @Ruxandra

Make sure the Open file is attached to the correct column.

Sometimes it goes empty for a reason I didn't determine yet.

Hello!

It is attached to the correct column. It is "inline", but it doesn't work.

I don't understand why...

Thank you!

Yes, that was the problem, I set to "Auto assign" and it is ok. Thank you very much for your help.
