hiding filter button on views

I have a dashboard view, which is displaying (as tabs on mobile) several other views (reference views) one of which is a list of years. This list has actions to navigate to other views (based on the year!)

The slight problem is that when viewing that, there is an icon at the top appsheet displays to 'filter', but if you click it, it's just an empty pane. There's nothing to filter, I presume, since it's just a simple list.

Is it possible to tell appsheet not to display the filter icon on a certain view or with certain data table?

No. That's an app-level setting.

I wanted to add as a request to the above-mentioned detail, how to keep the Search command but eliminating the Filter drop-down menu that appears in the search bar...
Instead I would like to eliminate the Selection command (the square with the checkmark)...
