How to turn off Daily Digest email?

I couldn't find this option anywhere in the settings, anyone see it?

I don't see any daily digest setting on that page.

Scroll down and choose how would you like to receive each of the listed notifications. You would find some set to Daily Digest. Change it to another setting or choose Never.

So because I had this setting like this:

...I received a daily email?

And there's no general daily digest on/off setting?

Right.

Yes, seems to be the case from my own experience playing with the settings when this forum started.

@AndrewB Why is this platform so broken?

Sorry, I am not following this one. It looks like Marc has a daily digest turned on in the screenshot. What is broken?

There's no way to unsubscribe from the daily digest.

Interesting. You don't follow the community feedback posts?

" It looks like Marc has a daily digest turned on in the screenshot."

I disagree. The setting is "how do you want to be notified of likes?" There does not exist a setting for "do you want a daily digest?"

Not including such a simple setting feels like a slap in the face here. You want to receive less emails? Sorry, we're going to obfuscate how to reduce those emails.

What is the default option for this setting? I may have gone through these settings and changed it previously, but certainly my intent then was not to turn on a daily digest, but rather "Oh there's a daily digest? Yah let's put notifications of likes into that, definitely don't want constant emails for likes.".

The default setting is to send the Likes in the daily digest - similar to Discourse.

It sounds like the best path forward is to have a single checkbox for "Turn of all daily digest emails".

My sense is the implementation team isn't very familiar with this product, and weren't (still aren't?) even aware of all of the user settings presented. Some are presented but clearly ignored by the implementation (time zone, e.g.).

And further, say I'm on this page looking for "daily digest" settings. There's a lot of settings, am I supposed to take the time to thoroughly read through them all? Nah, let me use my browser's search option.

But the search doesn't apply to those option texts.

Hi @Marc_Dillon, this works for me:

Sure, if you want to turn off ALL emails, but that's not the question.

Well, I know you may be mad but I didn't design this thing, it's a suggestion
