Data Agents can't filter Explores well

Created an agent off of a single Explore that is very simple (ie no other views are joined). I try to give it instructions on what important fields are and event provided example Explore query links on how to answer certain questions. For some reason the Agent does not seem to change it's behavior from the additional Instructions and makes same mistakes over and over again. Anyone have any ideas on how to improve Data Agent performance?
