Size Points by Field Broke a Couple Weeks Ago

When I try to size points by field it wipes out my scatter plot. It either blanks everything out or puts all the points in the top left corner if I select Plot Size-By Field. This behavior was new for me a couple weeks ago. I have been trying to get support's attention, but alas no luck. Are others seeing this too? Any solutions?
