Data Mapping Task Editor vs Data transformer Task editor

Hallo all, 

Does an comparison  or a decision tree exit,
when to use Data Mapping Task Editor or Data transformer Task editor ? 

Would be great to see ..

I have not seen any decision tree on the subject. 

Fron my experience, "Data mapping" is the first choice and works well when you have some simple variable matching. By simple I mean you want to extract a field from a Json response to store it in another variable. "Data Transformer" is more complex and used when, for example, you want to create new list of objects from an existing one with complex logic. I only use the script version of the "Data Transformer" task that needs you to know the specific Jsonnet language, not really "Low code" philosophy 🙂
