Error in lab: Getting Started with Elasticsearch on Google Cloud

Hello everyone,

I cannot receive a green tick for task five: Kibana server. When we check the status in SSH, it says "Kibana server is running" but in the web interface it says the server is not ready. I have tried this lab multiple times and have not been able to complete the lab.

Wait for some time. If it doesn't start, then restart the lab. It worked for me.

I tried to refresh the instruction page multiple times but still faced the above error.

Hi @kothalkar, I have been in contact with the support team since week 1 of the November Trivia. They are still investigating the error. I have sent them a video of my steps which are exactly as per the instructions. However, the green mark for the assessment is not cleared and I am stuck. I have a Deja Vu feeling that I will lose Nov trivia due to this as I am done with all the other labs 😞

I suggest that you turn line number on in vim editor use :set number. Then do the editing as per instructions. I was getting a similar error msg but on the second try I was able to complete the lab. Hope you answered the weekly trivia quiz questions. Best of luck.
