Hi, I had the exact same issue. even after trying the lab 5 times, check my progress was not showing a green tick

I contacted chat support, and they asked me to execute a command in cloud shell. I don't exactly remember the command, but it was something like:

gcloud services enable private.googleapis.com

I hope this command is correct and would work for others as well.
