Hello, every one. I cannot log in using the student account provided by the experiment. After the privacy window is opened, I have to enter the phone number for verification. Even if I enter the phone number and get the verification code, the verification will not succeed. This happens in multiple laboratories, which makes it impossible for me to conduct any experiments. I have sent two emails to report this matter, and it has been more than ten days, but I have not received any response. Please help, thank you.

Hello everyone,
I am very happy to share that the issue with logging into Google Skills Boost labs using temporary accounts has now been resolved on my end!
I wanted to post an update and express my sincere gratitude to everyone who offered help and support on this thread.
A big thank you to the Google Skills Boost Support Team for their assistance and suggestions, including the recommendation to reinstall Chrome.
Thank you to @RAOKS for pointing me to the similar post by @nozomi_azure and for your general help.
And a special thank you to @nozomi_azure for sharing your insights on regional connections, which gave me valuable direction.
Following the suggestions received, particularly the recommendation to reinstall Chrome and making a change to my Internet Service Provider (ISP), I am now able to successfully use incognito browser windows and log into the lab environments with the temporary credentials without encountering the previous verification issues.
Thank you all again for your invaluable help and support throughout this challenging process. Your contributions were greatly appreciated.
The issue appears to be resolved for me now.
Best regards,
Ivory_Sun
Thank you for your attention.
I would like to explain my situation in more detail: I had been doing experiments very smoothly before, and the problem started this month. I updated Windows 11 on April 1, from 23H to 24H, which caused some applications to need to be reinstalled, including Chrome. I think this changed some environments, and there was no problem logging in with my own Google account because there was two-factor verification. So I could log in to skills boost smoothly to continue the course. But when I started the experiment, there was a problem. I always followed the steps to use the temporary account and password given by the experiment prompt, open a private browser to log in to the console, and before I just entered the password, or even did not need to enter the password, and automatically entered the laboratory. But now there will be a page for entering a phone number for verification, and there is no other verification method. I entered my phone number, and then entered the verification code received to log in and continue the experiment. The experiment went as smoothly as before. But the real difficulty is behind. When I started the next experiment, I was still prompted to enter my phone number. I entered my phone number as before, but I could not successfully verify it again, even if I got and entered the verification code. It would not work. It would prompt that this number had been verified too many times. But it's actually my own phone number, and it's only linked to my Google account. For the experiment, I entered another phone number of mine, and it worked again. I can continue the experiment. But it doesn't end here. The next experiment still prompts me to enter a phone number, and it can't be any phone number I used before. I entered my mother's phone number, and it worked again. The problem now is that every time I enter the experiment, I have to enter a new phone number for verification, which is too strange.
After I encountered this situation at the beginning of this month, I sent an email to the support team of Cloud Learning, including screenshots, but I didn't receive a reply.
I think the origin of this problem is that my browser environment has changed, but the temporary account distributed by the laboratory should not require phone number verification, right? I have a screenshot, but it only prompts to enter a phone number. Another screenshot prompts too many verification times. Since the prompt is not in English, I won't post it here.
I hope to get help, or at least the support team of Cloud Learning can reply to my email. Thank you again.
Please confirm do you use any SDK on your PC/laptop.
@RAOKS First of all, thank you for your reply, but I don't understand the SDK you mentioned? My PC environment has no other changes except updating Windows 11.
Software Development Kit, some people faced problem because you already logged in with one gmail id and they use another for skill boost., another student id as per labs.
just try this and update me.
clear browser and do not save passwords.
use chrome , login with only with skill boost gmail id account which you used for subscription of arcade /facilitator .
Start any lab with no credits, right click near open google cloud console and in incognito , try to do lab.
if this no working, try firefox (only for testing purpose as Google recommends chrome labs)
update me..
I remember someone faced same problems one/two months, @Abhishek213 has given temporary solution.
Abhishek , pls give him that temporary solution , so that he will be able to labs.
@RAOKS Hi RAOKS,
Thank you again for your helpful suggestions and taking the time to reply to my post. I really appreciate you trying to help me figure this out.
Regarding your points:
SDK: Thank you for clarifying what SDK (Software Development Kit) means. I can confirm that I do not have any Software Development Kits installed related to Google Cloud or the lab environment on my PC. As I mentioned in my previous detailed post, the main significant change to my system environment was updating Windows 11 and subsequently reinstalling Chrome.
Clear browser and incognito: I want to assure you that I have consistently been following the lab instructions, which includes starting the labs in a private/incognito browser window and using the 'Clear Browsing Data' function regularly, especially when encountering login issues. I also mentioned in my earlier post that I specifically performed a thorough deletion of cookies when the problem started. So I believe I am already following these steps diligently.
Logging in with the subscription/Arcade Gmail ID: You suggested logging into Chrome only with the Gmail ID used for the subscription/Arcade. While I am logged into Chrome with my personal/subscription Google account for general Skills Boost access (like viewing courses and starting the labs initially), the specific problem arises when I am directed to use the temporary credentials provided by the lab to log into the Google Cloud Console within the incognito window. It is this login attempt with the temporary lab account that is triggering the unexpected phone number verification requirement and the subsequent 'too many verifications' error, preventing me from entering the lab environment itself. The issue isn't with logging into Skills Boost using my personal account, but specifically with logging into the lab instance using the temporary lab account.
Trying other browsers (Firefox/Edge): Thank you for suggesting I try a different browser like Firefox. I have now tested this thoroughly. I specifically downloaded and installed Firefox for this purpose. Following the lab guidance, I used Firefox to log into Skills Boost with my personal account, then launched a lab in an incognito Firefox window and attempted to log in with the provided temporary lab account credentials. The result was exactly the same as with Chrome: It still prompted me for phone number verification when trying to log in with the temporary account. For good measure, I also tried using the Edge browser with the same process (incognito window, attempting to log in with the temporary lab account). The result was identical – the same phone verification prompt appeared, leading to the same inability to proceed with the lab login. This confirms that the issue isn't specific to Chrome or any particular browser I'm using (Chrome, Firefox, or Edge) but appears consistently when attempting to log in with the temporary lab credentials in an incognito window.
As detailed in my longer post from yesterday ([You can potentially link to your previous post if the forum allows, or just refer to "my previous detailed post"]), the core of the problem is this recurring phone number verification when trying to log in with the temporary lab account, and the system then saying "this number has been verified too many times" even when using a new, previously unused number.
I appreciate you tagging @Abhishek213 regarding a potential temporary solution someone else faced. I hope he might be able to share that information, as it sounds like it could be very relevant to the issue I'm experiencing.
Thank you again for all your suggestions and for trying to help me troubleshoot this. It was important to rule out a browser-specific issue, and trying these different browsers helped confirm that the problem lies elsewhere. I'm still stuck due to this persistent verification loop and hoping to find a way to get back to doing the labs.
Best regards,
Ivory

Unable to Access Qwiklabs Created Labs: Stuck in SMS Verification Loop, Account Locked
Hi RAOKS,
Thank you so much for your message and for pointing me to that post dated March 3rd, 2025, and also for tagging @nozomi_azure. I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to help me figure this out.
Just wanted to quickly clarify something regarding replies here. As a new member to the community, my posts seem to go through a moderation process. This means there can be a delay between when I submit a reply and when it actually becomes visible in the thread. For example, I sent a reply to your previous message on Friday, but it only became visible today, Sunday. I always try to respond promptly, and just wanted to provide this context in case you observe a delay in future replies appearing from my end.
I immediately clicked on the link you provided, "Unable to Access Qwiklabs Created Labs: Stuck in SMS Verification Loop, Account Locked". After reading it, I agree with you – the situation described there sounds very likely the same as what I'm experiencing, especially the SMS verification loop part. Unfortunately, as you may have noticed, there isn't a follow-up in that thread indicating how the problem was resolved for @nozomi_azure. As you suggested, I will try to reach out to @nozomi_azure directly (if possible) or hope they see your tag and can share how they eventually overcame this. Thank you for highlighting this potentially related case!
In parallel to seeking help here, I have also been in direct contact with the Google Skills Boost support team regarding this issue. They responded and requested a screen recording to better understand the problem, which I completed and sent to them on Saturday. I haven't received their follow-up response yet.
I promise to keep this thread updated as soon as I receive any news or resolution from the support team, or if I learn anything new from @nozomi_azure or elsewhere.
Thank you again so much for your very helpful suggestion and support, RAOKS.
Best regards,
Ivory
