Error connecting to AWS RDS PostgreSQL

I can connect to my databased using pgadmin and other client. However, for Looker Studio, even after whitelisting the IP address, I am still not able to connect and the error message is quite vauge and not providing any useful information. Any ideas?

This is the error message I got:

Sorry, we encountered an error and were unable to complete your request.

I have the exact same issue right now (with a different Error ID on each attempt of course). Did you figure it out?
