Looker Studio Quota Error on all dashboards

Hi Team,

I have more than 20 dashboards on looker studio and suddenly all are showing Quota error from yesterday sometimes they are loading the data but most of the times quota error is there and those dashboards are connected with GA4 they were working fine day before yesterday. I tried troubleshooting by refreshing the fields connector but the issue exist. Please help

@Shiva91

These dashboards have been opened more frequently than before or have you worked on them, raising the number of queries to Google Analytics API. It would explain what you noticed about the quota errors.

Here the documentation of the related limits of requests

https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/data/v1/quotas

I hope it helps.

The usage of those dashboards is same as before but we never faced such issue earlier this is first time that all our dashboards are showing same issue at same time. However, data source is same for all the 20+ dashboards is there any other reason due to which we are facing issue or does Looker Studio has updated limitations in the recent times? @Mehdi_Oudjida

It is not Looker Studio limitations but GA4 ones on the Data API. It didn't change.

If you use the same GA properties to fed the 20+ reports, it makes sense to see the error everywhere.
Maybe, some reports became a token glutton? Or your tokens are also consumed by other external systems loading GA4 data, letting less tokens for Looker Studio usages?

For the Looker Studio side, you could create a new GA4 property to track the usages of the reports.

@Mehdi_Oudjida I am using same dashboards and GA4 property from the day GA4 replaced Universal Analytics but never faced this issue and one new thing I noticed in last 3 days that I am getting this error between specific time period as per IST 1pm to 2 pm and after that in the evening 5:30 to 6:30 pm which looks very strange to me that something in background might be exhausting the limit.
