"Consent required" to view data, clicking "Allow" doesn't work

When I view a Looker dashboard most of the data are hidden (see image), it requires consent.  I click "Allow", a blue progress bar flashes at the top but nothing changes.

I've tried disabling some of the tracking protections in my browser, allowing cookies, popups, etc. but nothing changes. I've also tried Firefox and Google Chrome browsers, both standard and incognito windows. I log in via a Google account and wondered if Google settings are somehow preventing this access but I couldn't find anything that was Looker-specific in my settings.

I would be grateful for any tips on fixing this issue! Thanks!

This was caused by a selection I made when I first signed up - Looker asked for permission to access my email and I denied it. Since the data access on this dashboard was determined by email no data would show.

I was unable to fix this by myself but having an admin re-add me to the dashboard meant that the permission request popped up again and I was able to select "allow".

HI Rach1  I have the same problem - did you find a resolution?

I hadthis problem as well.  To resolve- I was using a blend that had the email, id data source as part of it .  I had to directly reference the email, id data source with another control - and click the allow consent on that control.  Then it worked in the blend as well.  Good luck.

Hi there - my team experienced this pop-up, and it has since resolved, but now everyone except for me (the report owner) has lost access to the dashboard. We have confirmed that correct dashboard access is in place and correct data source access is in place. I have tried removing and re-adding users. They have just suddenly lost access, and nothing works. Can anyone please help?

Did you find a solution to this? I'm having the same issue with several users, probably 5 out of 300.

Same issue. Existing dashboard that people can access and then get looped into the Grant Consent purgatory. Any solutions short of rebuilding the entire tool?
