Conditional data formatting based on another field

Is it possible to format values bases on another field?

For example, I have a dimension called "metric" and a measure called "value", and the metrics can be "Gross Profit" or "Conversion Rate". I want to be able to show the format the "value" measure differently depending on the "metric" dimension.
