look at the icon next to the error message
I have searched this section for a post similar to this one. I’ve found some that are similar (and very useful, by the way) but not exactly the same.
Yesterday, while I was working, I discovered (and I’m telling it as if I had discovered America, haha) that anywhere there is text, we can use (at least for those with Windows) the combination:
Windows + .
This opens an emoji panel that can be inserted directly in place of the text. This is useful because AppSheet icons are restricted to actions and formatting rules, but sometimes we need them in text.
Well, even if I haven’t discovered America, surely some people will find this possibility interesting and useful.
Greetings, developers
Thank you @Gustavo_Eduardo for this Tip. Beside Emojis we can also use Unicode Characters.
Here is an example of a website where we can search for them: https://unicode-explorer.com/
And an example if we look for example for arrows: https://unicode-explorer.com/list/arrows
Sometimes I prefer Unicode more than Emojis, because it doesn't stand out as much as Emojis 😀
Thank you @Gustavo_Eduardo and @Fabian_Weller for the discussion on emoji and unicode. Emojis and Unicides certainly have a potential to enhance the app appearance.
@Fabian_Weller , the unicode website you have referred is very useful. Thank you very much.
Thank you, Suvrut, for always supporting, commenting, and helping in this community. A big hug!
Thank you so much, @Fabian_Weller , those are great insights!
In fact, I’ve been testing and have already made some changes, which look much better in table views and messages. Honestly, your tip works better for me than mine (although in some contexts, the "emoji" might still be useful). I'll stick with your tip for my case. Thanks again!
Greetings from Argentina!
