Has there been any update on this new tools that were promised? In particular 'how storage is used' could this be OU based storage quota assignment, which would be super helpful!

I’m not sure if there have been any public (non-NDAed) announcements about the specifics of the tools. I’d suggest talking with your account rep and following the roadmap.
