Hopefully you will announce that we can Embed Spaces into Sites. We love using Google sites as our intranet, and this is an integral feature!
@DanJobbo all I was able to figure out is embedding a Google Group into Sites. I am using Sites as well for an Intranet. It looks more like an inbox, but it's functional for now until something better comes along. Just take the URL from the Google Group and use the Embed component in Sites and paste in the URL.
If a Google Group is providing access to a Currents Community, will that group be migrated with the community and continue to function by providing access to the Space as users are added/removed from the group?
Like others on this thread, my company's intranet is using Google Sites and we have Currents embedded into our Google Site intranet for company news and events. We can embed a Google Group, but the design is not ideal.... looking more like a gmail inbox than a fun social news feed. Looking forward to hearing a solution for embedding news feed into Sites now that Currents is going away.
My clients are also needing Spaces integration with Google Sites. The sooner the better for this essential feature.
@SitesDesigner it's not going to happen: Google stated in their Currents to Spaces webinar last week that it's not on the roadmap and there are no plans to add it.
Hi everyone, please see the event recap post here, including written answers to questions. We did our best to capture all the questions received, but please feel free to add a comment for any additional questions.
