As far as I can see, it's not possible to manage SAML applications through API calls. Is this feature going to be implemented? It would allow handling multiple SAML apps with tools like Terraform, where this feature would be much appreciated (https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform-provider-googleworkspace/issues/425).
It is possible to manage some SAML related settings via the Admin Settings API: https://developers.google.com/workspace/admin/admin-settings
However, I do agree, having a dedicated API to manage Workspace SAML apps will make things easier for many admins. Feel free to submit this as a feature idea!
I noticed that this post in the Feature Ideas section from June 2024 already mentions this topic and doesn't seem to be considered 😞 : https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Feature-Ideas/Add-APIs-to-automate-setup-and-configuration-o...
Or this one from February 2023 : https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Feature-Ideas/SAML-API-to-GET-all-existing-integrations/idi-...
Looking at the posts on the HashiCorp GitHub repository I mentioned, this dedicated API has been awaited since 2023. Is it possible to give this request a little push forward ?
Thanks, will flag this to the Product team!
